Welcome. I am Orn Pedersen Cappelen, a writer and theology graduate. I founded Cappelen Covenant Words to provide writing services through a biblical lens. Cappelen Covenant Words is a registered sole proprietorship in Norway. It was established to offer professional writing services characterized by theological depth, emotional honesty, and covenant rooted clarity. I understand the importance of grounding our communication in Scripture. I am committed to helping you articulate your message in a way that honors God and edifies others. My work is rooted in the belief that words can be a powerful force for good.
My personal journey profoundly influences my approach to writing. I write because it saved me. As a survivor of childhood abuse, I discovered healing and identity through Scripture, through love, and through language. This experience instilled a deep understanding of the power of words to both wound and heal. Today, I use words to build, restore, and equip others both in faith and in life. I believe in the transformative potential of sharing our stories.
My faith journey took a significant turn after September 11, 2001. I began to embrace the whole of Scripture including the Torah as living and relevant. I reverently use the name Yehovah for God, not out of denominational alignment, but out of deep respect for His covenant name. Though my background is Pentecostal, my heart is Hebrew rooted and Scripture driven. I am also happily married, and eternally grateful for my wife who is a constant partner, support, and answer to prayer. Together, we are building a life marked by grace, resilience, and a clear sense of calling.
